The Why Leave Town (WLT) promotion has been highly successful since the promotion began in Forbes, with over $1,000,000 being re-invested into the local businesses. Shoppers purchase and place funds onto a WLT Card to use as gifts. The promotion is supported by all local businesses that are Forbes Business Chamber members and the WLT cards can be redeemed in their stores.

All of the Why Leave Town cards have a 3 year life and can be redeemed when suitable.

The Forbes Business Chamber has designed and printed door stickers to highlight the businesses that participate in the WLT Program.
